Each time is calculated from the same instant using the international time-zone database built into the browser, so daylight-saving transitions (which happen on different dates in different countries) come out right. The first row is the device's own zone, which makes it easy to compare 'their time' against 'my time' before scheduling a call.
Why does London change by an hour in spring and autumn? The UK observes British Summer Time from the last Sunday of March to the last Sunday of October. The clock above applies the rule automatically, as it does for US daylight saving, which starts and ends on different dates.
Is this the official time? It is as accurate as the device clock plus the standard time-zone rules. For split-second official time, national standards labs publish it — for scheduling and everyday use, this clock is exact.
