Count how often each word appears in your text, most frequent first.
Words are counted case-insensitively ("The" and "the" are one word), punctuation is ignored, and the top 100 are listed most-frequent first — the quickest way to spot overused words in an essay, repeated keywords in a draft, or the vocabulary of a document.
Does it count phrases? Single words only. Repeated phrases stand out indirectly: their words all rank high together.
What counts as a word? Runs of letters, digits and apostrophes — so "don’t" is one word and "well-known" counts as two.
