About this tool

The SVG is rendered by the browser's own graphics engine onto a canvas at the requested width (height follows the graphic's proportions) and saved as PNG. Transparency in the original stays transparent. Rasterising is a one-way trip: the PNG is fixed pixels, so pick a generous width if the image will ever be shown large.

Common questions

Why does a converted PNG look blurry when enlarged? PNG is pixels. An SVG scales forever because it is instructions, not pixels; once converted, enlarging stretches the pixels. Convert at the largest size likely to be needed.

The converter says the SVG is invalid — why? Pasted code needs to be a complete svg element, and SVG files that reference external images or fonts cannot pull those in from inside a page. Self-contained graphics convert cleanly.

Private by design: this tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing typed, pasted, or opened here is uploaded, stored, or tracked.
