Paste or open an SVG and strip the editor clutter cutting software does not need, with before and after sizes and previews.

Vector editors save extra data into SVG files: comments, metadata blocks, document titles and descriptions, editor-only namespaces and attributes (for example Inkscape and sodipodi data) and empty groups left behind after edits. This cleaner parses the file with the browser XML parser, removes those items, optionally rounds every coordinate to a chosen number of decimal places, and shows the byte saving before anything is downloaded. It does not simplify paths, merge shapes, change colours or rescale the artwork, and it does not check whether a design is suitable for a particular cutting machine or material.
Does cleaning change how the design looks? Removing comments, metadata, editor attributes and empty groups does not change the rendered shapes. Rounding coordinates to 2 or 3 decimals can shift points by a fraction of a unit, which is normally invisible at cut size.
Why is the cleaned file sometimes barely smaller? Simple SVGs saved from a clean export may contain almost no editor data. Most of the saving appears on files saved directly from an editor working file rather than an optimised export.
