About this tool

The drawn signature is stamped onto the chosen page as a transparent image, the way most consumer e-sign tools place a signature. It is a signature image, not a cryptographic digital signature: it shows intent on the document but does not carry the tamper-evident certificate that formal digital signing provides. Where a certified digital signature is legally required, the requesting organisation will say so and name its platform.

Common questions

Is a drawn signature legally binding? In many everyday situations (US ESIGN and UETA, and equivalents elsewhere) an electronic signature made with intent to sign is binding — but requirements vary by document type and jurisdiction, and some documents still need witnesses or certified signing. When in doubt, ask the organisation that sent the document.

Can the signature be placed anywhere? Positions are the three bottom placements where signatures normally go. The width is adjustable so it sits naturally on a signature line; a document with the line higher up needs the signature placed by its own signing platform instead.
