Type the label lines, choose a standard sheet layout, set the quantity, and print a sheet of labels at exact inch sizes.
Choose from three standard sheet layouts described by their label size and count per US Letter sheet: 30-up address labels at 2.625 x 1 in, 10-up shipping labels at 4 x 2 in, and 24-up labels at 2 x 1 in. The sheet is generated at exact CSS inch sizes and printed with the browser print dialog. For labels to land in the right places, set the print dialog to the actual label stock, turn off fit-to-page scaling (use 100%), and set margins to none where the browser offers it, then run one test sheet on plain paper and hold it over the label stock to check alignment before printing on labels.
Why did my labels drift out of alignment when printed? Almost always browser scaling or margins. Set scaling to 100% (not fit to page), set margins to none, and make a plain-paper test print held over the label sheet to confirm alignment before using label stock.
Are these layouts tied to one label brand? No brand is named or required. The layouts are described only by label size and labels per sheet; match those two numbers to whatever compatible stock is being used.
