Lottery number generator

Pick a game (or set a custom pool) and draw quick-pick lines with true random numbers.

Every combination in a fair lottery has exactly the same chance, a random pick is as good as any other, and no generator can improve the odds.

About this tool

Quick picks are drawn by sampling without replacement from the game's pool using the browser's cryptographic random generator, so the balls behave like a proper lottery machine: no favourites, no patterns, no repeats within a line. Game presets follow the current published formats, Powerball draws 5 white balls from 69 plus a Powerball from 26; Mega Millions draws 5 from 70 plus a Mega Ball from 25 (the Mega Ball pool changed to 25 in the April 2025 format revision); classic lotto is 6 from 49.

Two facts worth keeping in view: roughly 70–80% of real lottery tickets are quick picks, so most jackpot winners are quick-pick players, simply because most tickets are. And 'due' numbers are a myth: each draw is independent, so past results change nothing about the next one.

Common questions

Are quick picks as likely to win as chosen numbers? Yes, every combination has identical probability. Chosen numbers only differ in how many other players pick the same ones (birthday-based picks cluster on 1–31, so a win with them is more likely to be shared). Random picks avoid the popular clusters.

Can generated numbers be duplicated across lines? Within a line, never, the draw samples without replacement. Across lines a repeat combination is possible but vanishingly unlikely, exactly as with machine quick picks.

Does this check winning numbers? No, it only generates picks. Check results with the official lottery after the draw.
