About this tool

Cards are held only in page memory — nothing is uploaded — and can be exported as a tab-separated text file that most flashcard and spreadsheet apps can import (term in the first column, definition in the second). In study mode, clicking the large card flips between front and back; shuffling breaks up position memorisation, where answers are remembered by order rather than by content.

Common questions

How does the export file work? Export downloads a plain text file with one card per line, term and definition separated by a tab. That format imports directly into common flashcard apps and spreadsheets.

Are cards saved between visits? No. The deck lives in the current page only, which keeps it private. Export or print the set to keep a copy.

How should cards be written for best recall? One fact per card, with a short front that prompts a specific answer. Long paragraph definitions are harder to self-test honestly.

Private by design: this tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing typed, pasted, or opened here is uploaded, stored, or tracked.
