What does 2d6 mean? RPG shorthand: roll two six-sided dice and add them. This tool’s defaults (2 dice, 6 sides) are exactly 2d6.
Are the odds the same as real dice? Yes — uniform random values from the OS random generator match physical dice odds as closely as anything measurable.
