Open a CBZ comic archive and read it page by page in the browser, with page controls, a fit-to-width option and arrow-key navigation.
No comic loaded yet. CBZ (zip) only, CBR (RAR) is not supported.
The reader opens the CBZ archive with the JSZip library, lists the image entries it contains (JPG, PNG, GIF and WebP), sorts them by filename in natural order so unpadded numbers still read correctly, and shows one page at a time with previous/next buttons, a “page n of N” indicator, a fit-to-width toggle and left/right arrow-key navigation. Only the current page is loaded into memory as an image at a time. The format scope is stated plainly: this is CBZ only. CBZ is a zip archive, which browsers handle well; CBR is a RAR archive, and because there is no solid free in-browser RAR reader, CBR is not supported instead of being handled unreliably. Encrypted or damaged archives will fail to open.
Why is CBR not supported? CBZ is a zip archive, which the browser can open with a standard library. CBR is a RAR archive, and there is no solid free in-browser RAR reader, so CBR files are honestly not supported here rather than supported badly.
In what order are pages shown? Pages are sorted by filename in natural order, so page2 comes before page10, the order comic archives are normally named in. Non-image files inside the archive are skipped.
Is the comic uploaded anywhere? No. The archive is opened and its pages are displayed locally in the browser; nothing is sent to a server.
